LIFETIME RESIDENTIAL LAMINATE WARRANTY AGAINST WATER DAMAGE
We guarantee to the initial buyer that our laminate flooring will remain free from manufacturing flaws. Under typical home use, the surface will not show wear**, nor will it stain or fade due to exposure to natural or artificial light. *Wear is defined as the complete disappearance of the design over at least a 2-square-inch area. Please note, scratches and reduced shine do not constitute wear. In the event of wear staining, or fading, we reserve the right to either replace or reimburse for the affected flooring area as per this warranty. This warranty does not cover installation costs or other incidental charges resulting from a defect. If the original flooring is no longer available, we will provide a replacement of equal value. This warranty is non-transferable and supersedes any other warranties, whether stated or implied, as well as any other legal remedies or liabilities.
15-YEAR COMMERCIAL LAMINATE WARRANTY AGAINST WATER DAMAGE
For the original buyer, we warrant that our laminate flooring will be defect-free and that the surface will not wear*, stain, or fade from light for a decade following the purchase date, under normal commercial use conditions. *Wear is defined as the total loss of design over at least a 2-square-inch area. Note that scratches and loss of gloss are not considered wear. Areas with intense foot traffic or heavy rolling loads, such as entryways and commercial kitchens, are not recommended for this flooring. If wear, staining, or fading occurs, we will either replace or refund the affected flooring area as outlined in this warranty. This warranty does not cover labor or other incidental costs due to a defect. If the original flooring is discontinued, we will provide a replacement of equal value. This warranty is exclusive to the original buyer and overrides all other warranties, expressed or implied, and any other legal remedies or liabilities.
200-HOUR STANDING WATER WARRANTY FOR LAMINATE
Our laminate is designed to resist damage from moisture for spills cleaned up within 200 hours. While water-resistant, prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to mold or mildew growth, especially if the moisture issue is not promptly addressed. This warranty does not cover damages from mold or mildew due to extended moisture exposure, nor does it cover flooding.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WATER-RESISTANT LAMINATE WARRANTY
The laminate panels must be installed correctly following our guidelines and are intended solely for indoor use. This warranty does not cover damage due to negligence, improper installation or maintenance, inadequate protection, alterations, pests, severe accidents, extreme heat, burns, fire, or natural disasters.
To file a claim, the flooring must be well-maintained. Regular sweeping, at least weekly, is required, and it vacuuming, the beater bar must be deactivated to prevent damage. Wet mopping is not advised. For cleaning, we recommend Bona laminate floor cleaner, applied to the mop head rather than directly on the floor. Wax-based products should never be used on your laminate flooring..
WATER-RESISTANT LAMINATE WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our laminate panels are designed for indoor use and must be installed as per our provided guidelines. This warranty does not extend to damages caused by negligence, improper installation or maintenance, lack of adequate protection, unauthorized modifi- cationsinfestations, significant accidents, extreme temperatures, burns, fires, or acts of nature.
MAINTENANCE AND CLAIM ELIGIBILITY
For warranty claims to be considered, the flooring must be properly cared for. Routine cleaning, including sweeping at least once a week,is essential. When vacuuming, ensure the beater bar is turned of to avoid damagingthe floor. Wet moppingis not recommend- ed. Instead, we suggest using Bona laminate floor cleaner, sprayed onto the mop head, not directly onto the floor. Do not use wax-based products on your flooring.
EXCLUSIONS AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The warranty does not cover floors installed in saunas or any damage due to excessive steam in bathrooms without adequate ventilation. Transition accessories and moldings are also not covered.
This warranty applies exclusively to first-quality products purchased after the release date of these warranty terms and is valid for the specified duration when installed in a private residence.
Before installation, inspect the laminate panels under good lighting conditions. Do not install any products with visible defects. Panels installed with manufacturing defects are not covered by this warranty. Defects must be reported before installation and within 30 days of purchase for warranty consideration. This warranty does not cover discrepancies in color or gloss from repairs made with materials added at a later date that are not part of warranty repairs.
NON-TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY FOR ORIGINAL PURCHASER
This warranty is strictly non-transferable and is valid only for the original end consumer. It covers only those defects that are inherent to the material supplied, such as material or production flaws recognized by the manufacturer, including issues like delamination or diminished wear layer resistance. The manufacturer reserves the right to either repair or replace the product. In the event of a replacement, only new panels from the current product range at the time of the validated complaint will be provided by the distributor or retailer. No other compensation will be offered.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE
This warranty does not cover the laminate flooring if it has been subjected to abnormal use or conditions, or if it has been misused in any manner. "Abnormal use or conditions' encompasses, but is not limited to, water damage from plumbing, storms, or floods, as wel as damage from smoke, fire, or other catastrophic events. tI also includes damages due to negligence or unauthorized alter- ations to the original product. 'Abuse' refers to any use of the flooring that is unreasonable considering the typical and expected uses of a laminate floor ni a residential setting. The damage must be clearly visible, at least the size of a dime, and not a result of abnormal conditions, accidents, or misuse, such as damage trom mechanical sources, severe impacts, scratches (caused by drag- ging objects or furniture), or cuts. Furniture must have protective coverings on their feet. Chairs, sotas, or furniture with casters should have soft rubber wheels, or be placed on a suitable protective mat or castor cups.
This warranty does not extend to damage caused by extreme temperatures, dryness, or moisture beyond regular cleaning as outlined in this warranty. Homeowners must maintain indoor temperatures between 65'F to 85'F and humidity levels from 35% to 55% to prevent damage to the flooring.
